With just a few hours until this year’s Boxing Day sales wrap up, find out what most have had their eye on.

According to Aussie cashback site cashrewards.com.au, 53 per cent of consumers are set to have taken advantage of this year’s Boxing Day sales by the time the discounts end tonight. Of those, 59 per cent are women.
The keenest Boxing Day shoppers are in the 25-34 age bracket (34 per cent). This is followed by those aged 35-44 (30 per cent), 45-54 (16 per cent) 55 plus (12 per cent) and 18-24 (8 per cent).
Breaking down the postcodes, inner-city Melbourne was labelled Australia’s most “sales hungry” region, followed by Calamvale, Drewvale and Stretton near Brisbane; and the 17 Queensland suburbs that use postcode 4211 – including Carrara, Binna Burra, Pacific Pines and Nerang.
Meanwhile, South Australians are the least enthusiastic about this year’s Boxing Day bargains, according to the cashback site.

On average, Australian consumers set themselves a budget of $1,000 for the Boxing Day sales, according to the cashback site.
The five things consumers are wanting to pick up before the Boxing Day sales end this year are:

2. Electronics – games, TVs, computers, iPads
3. Women’s shoes
4. Make-up
5. Books
