NGS Super strengthens leadership with appointment of new Chief Member Officer
In a strategic move to bolster its member growth and experience transformation, NGS Super has appointed Adam Parsons as the new Chief Member Officer (CMO). Effective from 1 June 2026, Parsons will join the superannuation fund’s executive team, taking the helm of the Member Business unit. This unit is pivotal in driving member growth, engagement, financial advice, and user experience as NGS Super continues to expand its membership base.
The appointment follows an extensive executive search process, which saw a competitive pool of high-calibre candidates vying for the position. NGS Super CEO Natalie Previtera expressed her confidence in Parsons’ ability to lead the organisation’s member-focused initiatives. “Adam brings a powerful combination of strategic marketing expertise, digital transformation experience and a clear focus on member growth and engagement,” Previtera stated. “The strength of the candidate pool reflected NGS Super’s market position and strategic momentum, but Adam’s energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of our business stood out. These qualities will be critical as we continue to scale our member services and enhance the overall member experience.”
Parsons is no stranger to the intricacies of superannuation and financial services, boasting over 20 years of experience in the industry. His career has been marked by successful stints in superannuation, wealth management, and broader financial services, where he has consistently demonstrated an ability to drive growth and engagement. Before joining NGS Super in 2024, Parsons held senior marketing leadership roles at prominent financial services firms, including Colonial First State and Commsec.
During his tenure at NGS Super, Parsons has been instrumental in leading the group’s brand, marketing, and digital experience functions. His efforts have been key in repositioning these capabilities as crucial drivers of member acquisition, retention, and engagement. In his new role as CMO, Parsons will be tasked with accelerating NGS Super’s member growth strategy, enhancing the end-to-end member experience, expanding access to financial advice and education, and further integrating digital capabilities across all engagement channels.
Reflecting on his new responsibilities, Parsons expressed both excitement and a sense of duty. “I am honoured to take on this role at such an important time for NGS Super,” he said. “We have a clear opportunity to deepen engagement, enhance the experience we deliver to members and employers, and build on the strong foundations already in place. I look forward to working with the executive team to drive the next phase of growth and impact for the fund.”

The Member Business unit, under Parsons’ leadership, is expected to play a central role in delivering improved outcomes for members. This includes strengthening employer partnerships and building a more connected and seamless experience across all member touchpoints. The unit’s focus aligns with NGS Super’s broader strategy of enhancing the overall member experience and ensuring that the fund remains a leader in the competitive superannuation market.
Parsons’ appointment comes at a time when NGS Super is poised for significant growth and transformation. The fund’s strategic initiatives are designed to meet the evolving needs of its members and to ensure that it remains at the forefront of the industry. With Parsons at the helm of the Member Business unit, NGS Super is well-positioned to achieve its ambitious goals and deliver on its commitment to providing exceptional service and value to its members.
As the superannuation industry faces increasing pressure to adapt to technological advancements and changing member expectations, NGS Super’s decision to appoint a seasoned professional like Parsons underscores its commitment to innovation and excellence. With his extensive experience and proven track record, Parsons is expected to lead the charge in driving meaningful change and ensuring that NGS Super continues to thrive in the years to come.
