Webull launches cryptocurrency trading for Australian investors
Webull Securities Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Webull Corporation, has unveiled its cryptocurrency trading platform for Australian users, marking a significant expansion in the company’s offerings. The platform now allows Australians to trade up to 240 different cryptocurrencies, making it one of the most extensive and cost-effective options available in the country.

The launch, which took place on 27 August 2025, is a part of Webull’s global strategy to provide a comprehensive trading platform for retail investors. The Australian market is now the third to have access to Webull’s cryptocurrency trading services, following successful rollouts in other regions. “The addition of cryptocurrencies and digital tokens to the Webull platform represents the next phase of our ongoing mission to provide Australian investors with the freedom to trade what they want, when they want,” said Rob Talevski, CEO of Webull Securities Australia.
This new offering has been made possible through a partnership with Coinbase Prime, a leading provider of trading infrastructure. Coinbase Prime brings to the table its institutional-grade custody, financing solutions, and real-time market data, ensuring that Webull’s Australian users have access to a robust and secure trading environment. Talevski emphasised the importance of this collaboration, stating, “We've made crypto trading simple and easy to access for our Australian users, while Coinbase Prime provides the secure infrastructure that investors can rely on.”
Webull’s platform is designed to cater to a variety of investment structures. Users can trade cryptocurrencies via individual accounts, Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs), Trusts, and Company accounts. This flexibility allows digital assets to be seamlessly integrated into diverse investment portfolios. The platform boasts a spread of just 30 basis points, positioning itself as one of the lowest-cost options for cryptocurrency trading in Australia.
In addition to affordability, Webull offers a suite of advanced trading tools to enhance the user experience. The platform includes a premium charting suite equipped with over 40 technical indicators, customisable layouts, and advanced charting tools. This integration is aimed at providing users with the analytical capabilities needed to make informed trading decisions. Furthermore, Webull ensures that its users have access to 24/7 customer support, reinforcing its commitment to user satisfaction and reliability.

The introduction of cryptocurrency trading on the Webull platform is expected to attract a broad spectrum of investors, from seasoned traders to those new to digital assets. The company’s focus on providing a user-friendly experience is evident in its efforts to simplify the trading process. As Talevski noted, “Our goal is to democratise access to financial markets, and the launch of crypto trading in Australia is a significant step in fulfilling that vision.”
With the cryptocurrency market gaining momentum globally, Webull’s entry into the Australian market is timely. The company’s low-cost trading model and comprehensive features are likely to appeal to a growing number of Australians interested in exploring digital currencies. As the market evolves, Webull plans to expand its offerings further, with additional markets expected to be introduced throughout the year.
For Australians eager to dive into the world of cryptocurrency, Webull’s platform provides a compelling option. The combination of competitive pricing, extensive trading tools, and robust security measures sets it apart as a formidable player in the Australian crypto trading landscape.
Webull’s cryptocurrency trading is now accessible via the Webull app, offering a seamless entry point for Australian investors looking to expand their portfolios with digital assets. More information about the platform and its offerings can be found on their website at Webull Australia.
